Jalen Simmons is the founder of JMixtape Productions, a film production brand focused on telling honest, impact-driven stories. What began as a way to help overlooked athletes gain exposure has evolved into a broader focus on meaningful storytelling across sports, events, and brands.

Jalen’s passion for video production started by documenting his younger brother Kobi Simmons’ journey to professional basketball, at a time when visibility and access weren’t guaranteed. That experience shaped his approach to filmmaking — intentional, personal, and rooted in real moments.

A former collegiate basketball player at Berea College (KY), Jalen earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Applied Design in 2016. Today, he works closely with clients to create cinematic films that feel natural, authentic, and purpose-driven.

JMixtape Productions exists to serve people and organizations who care about story, connection, and impact.
